Now based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, on the Anglo-Scottish border, I began painting professionally in my teenage years, predominantly as a portrait artist.

From the late 2000's, I stepped away from art as I focussed on my young family. However, in 2017, my passion for art was reignited as I became inspired by the beauty of the ancient and ethereal landscapes of Scotland, the country which I now consider to be my spiritual home.

I thus reinvented myself as a Scottish landscape artist, as I was driven to portray the soul of this ancient land, and to provide those who view my paintings with the opportunity to be touched by the essence of this mystical kingdom. Every painting is in oils, on canvas, and each one has my heart and soul flowing through it, full of meaning and emotion, and offering my own personal and unique depiction of the enigmatic, ethereal landscapes of Scotland, places often lost deep in the mists of time and untouched by modernity.
